Khyndailad, also known as Police Bazar, was another fascinating place to visit. It offered a variety of hotels, multi-cuisine restaurants, and shops that catered to every customer's need. We decided to stay overnight to make the most of our time in Shillong.

After enjoying a hearty breakfast, take a delightful city tour of Shillong and discover its many renowned attractions. Start your exploration with a visit to Ward Lake, also known as Pollock’s Lake. This exquisite manmade lake, named after Sir William Ward, offers charming garden walks and opportunities for boating. Next, explore the Cathedral Catholic Church and the Capt. Williamson Sangma State Museum, providing fascinating insights into the local lifestyle. Then, ascend to Shillong Peak, the highest point in the state, where you can marvel at breathtaking countryside views. For a spot of shopping, head to the emporiums. Conclude the day with an overnight stay in Shillong.

Surrounded by coniferous forests, the lake offers a peaceful and serene atmosphere. You can try your hand at fishing or simply enjoy a leisurely picnic by the shores. Other recreational activities available include boat riding, kayaking, and angling. After a satisfying lunch, return to Guwahati and check into the hotel upon arrival.
